Ram Gridiron Challenge postponed

OKEECHOBEE — The Ram Gridiron Challenge Fundraiser, originally planned for Sept. 18, has been postponed until October.

Okeechobee High School Brahman football fans can support the home team by test driving a Dodge Ram truck on Friday, Oct. 9, between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. on a special course set up at OHS.

For every test drive, Dodge will donate $20 to the school’s football program, up to a maximum of $5,000. Drivers can choose to test a Ram 1500 or 2500 truck.

If the fundraiser attracts 250 test drives, the football program will receive a $500 bonus.

There will also be competitions between the OHS classes to bring in the most test drivers. The winning class will receive $500.

To test drive a truck, participants must be licensed drivers at least 18 years old.
The promotion will not involve any sales pitches. Those interested in finding out more about the trucks will be given contact information for the Okeechobee Dodge dealership.
