Fox Brown provides habitat for several species of deer that are rare or extinct in the wild. For instance, the Peré David’s Deer have been extinct in the wild for hundreds of years but their species survives because of ranches such as Fox Brown. Part of the permit fees paid to hunt Barasingha Deer go back to their native India to provide for critical habitat for this rare species. With the exception of the water buffalo. which are destructive when mating, all the animals breed naturally on the ranch to ensure vibrant, healthy wild herds.

Proceeds from Fox Brown Outfitters’ operations have allowed the ranch to make vast environmental improvements in the preserve. Many wetlands have been restored and the ranch is involved in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wetlands Reserve Program.

In addition to the diverse exotic animals, the unspoiled land is a critical refuge for dozens of native species from sand hill cranes and eagles to gopher tortoises. Without the ranch revenues, these environmental efforts simply would not be possible.

If you’re looking for the premier exclusive Florida Hunting Ranch for entertaining, hunting, photo tours, corporate entertaining, or that special family hunting trip, this is the place. The abundant wildlife is amazing and you will see an array of native and exotic game.
