Detective seeks info in fraud case

OKEECHOBEE — Investigators are seeking information into the identity of two men wanted for questioning in regard to the use of a stolen credit card number.

The fraud cases were first reported Oct. 19, said Michele Bell, public information officer for the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO). The bogus card number was used at two local businesses.

She said OCSO Detective Javier Gonzalez has been “trying to get more information” since that date.

The first suspect is described as a black male standing 5-foot-8-inches to 5-foot-10-inches tall, and weighing around 230 to 245 pounds. His head is shaved and he has a ring beard circling his mouth and chin.BAD GUY #1

He was last seen wearing a red shirt with the words “I’m Fly” on the front, camouflage short pants and red sneakers.

The second suspect is also described as a black male, but with a thin build.

When last seen he was wearing a white T-shirt, black short pants, black ankle socks and red flip flops or slippers.

The men could possibly be traveling in a newer model silver, four-door Ford Fusion.

If you have any information about either of these suspects, contact Detective Gonzalez at 863-763-3117, ext. 5106, and reference case number 15S21114.
