Name the K-9 contest

OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in naming its newest K-9, shown here with her handler Deputy Richard Varnadore (center, kneeling).

The Belgian Malinois will turn 1 year old June 18, and her name will be chosen Monday, June 13. With Deputy Varnadore and his new K-9 are: (left to right) Vohne Liche Kennel owner/dog trainer Ken Licklider, OCSO Detective Sergeant Jimmy Mills, OCSO Detective Rick Voss, dog trainer Dan Parker and dog trainer Bobby Roettger.
